After serving in the United States Army during the Korean War, Clarence Dean Sanbeck came home, traded his Sergeant stripes for shovels and trowels, and set off in the concrete finishing industry to feed his family.

Thirty years later, Dean, or “Sandy” as he became known, started his own business as “Sandy's Concrete” in 1978. He employed his son David, teaching him the trade and work ethic until his retirement in 1983.

In June of 1985, David opened his version of “Sandy's Concrete”, with a pick up, shovel, wheelbarrow and the same work ethic his Dad taught him and set out to feed his family.

2003 found the company incorporating, as it grew from just a flat work company to one that offered excavation, hauling, clearing, demolision and grading as well as construction of commercial and residential foundations, water features, masonry work and many other forms of outdoor construction.

In 2015, David will start his 30th year as “Sandy”. The industry does take its toll on the body, and David now has his son, Benjamin taking over the field operations after starting with the company in 2006.

Benjamin served his country as a United States Marine, and was deployed to Iraq in 2005 until a grenade shortened his career in the military.

Benjamin has traded in his Sergeant stripes just as his Grandfather did in 1950, and picked up the shovel and trowel and set off to continue the family business.  

With the tradition of providing superior quality construction services to our customers that stand the test of time, Benjamin looks forward to taking “Sandy's Concrete Inc” to new levels of success in the future, with the rich traditions of the past.

Combat wounded Marine Sergeant in Iraq. Ben joined Sandys after military service. Wife of nine years, Jennifer Lynn Sanbeck; three pups and three felines.

Hugo Pablo joined Sandy's Concrete in 2012, and has become a very key component in the success now, and in the future. Wife of 15 years, Gloria, and Jennifer and Diego; two dogs.
